God’s Unfailing Faithfulness

Yesterday, I went to see my art therapist and after an hour of sharing with her what God has been doing in my life, all the healing that has taken place, all the breakthroughs, as well as all the struggles, I realized that only a few months back, I was in the middle of a black cloud, desperate, stuck, without hope for the future, filled with fear and uncertainty.
During that time at one of my sessions, she had prompted me to draw what my life looked like within, and around me. Let me tell you, it was not a pretty picture of my life. So when I looked at the drawing yesterday I realized God’s unfailing faithfulness over the last few months and certainly over my whole story.
Today, I am standing not even an ounce of my own desires or accomplishments but it is all in God’s will and love for me.
Truly, there is nothing I have done or could have possibly earn to receive his goodness and mercy.
Yet, He’s faithful.
Yet, He provides.
Yet, He tells me I am loved,
appointed,
worthy,
and have His victory even if I don’t deserve it. As I sat there yesterday, and shared with my therapist, we both had chills. We both had a glimpse of heaven as I shared the story God has been developing in my life.

The girl you see here smiling,
The girl you see here that you think has it all together,
Doesn’t!
But you know what she does have?
A surrendered heart that is not afraid of the unseen, for her trust is in God’s works and wonders, even as she doesn’t understand it.
God indeed has sent forth his unfailing love and faithfulness rescuing me from those who hound me (Psalm 57:3).
Gracias Señor. Por siempre gracias.
